Boom Shaka-lager! Sydney’s largest celebration of craft beer, Sydney Craft Beer Week is back for its sixth year in 2016. Mark your calendars and join in the pursuit of hoppyness from Friday 21 October to Sunday 30 October 2016.
In 2015 there were over 130 events held across 70 of Sydney’s leading venues, the festival has seen everything from Beergustations and Hair of the Dog Breakfasts, to tap takeovers and axe throwing tournaments, and the festival celebrating better beer is growing every year.
Joel Connolly, Festival Director says “Sydney Craft Beer Week brings together devoted brewers and beer enthusiasts for a week of incredible craft beer events. To whet the appetite for a week of beer guzzling fun, our annual Opening Gala Night returns to kick things off on Friday 21 October”,
“We are also seeing the return of some favourites, including “Pint of Origin: The Schooner Edition” taking you on a beer adventure across state lines”.
Stay tuned for more announcements on the line-up for this year. The Sydney Craft Beer Week is gearing up to be one of the highlights of the Sydney events calendar, so save the date and prepare yourself for an unforgettable beer-fuelled experience.
Hopportunites are also open for Sydney venues and brewers to get involved by registering events, see the links above for more information.
